It’s Valuable To Ride The Wave, Don’t Be Afraid Of Nothing To Do

ree

Today I woke up at 11 AM and didn’t really get up until closer to noon.

Given I’ve spent every night in Puerto Rico going to bed after 4 AM, it was lovely.

For an hour I lay in bed just vibing. On a normal day I’d feel like I’m missing out on good productivity, but today I was more like, I paid good money to lay here, I’m going to enjoy it. We had no set itinerary for the day, why rush into nothing?

It made me appreciate how little I stop to soak in the world and got me thinking we all need to go on vacation and do that more.

Though by 1 PM I was ready for the day.

Parking illegally in San Juan isn’t cheap when you get caught

Parking the new AF Santa Fe we rented on the street out here makes me appreciate my hood’s parking situation so much more.

There was no legal spot for us to park. We’d been parking dirty the whole trip, but today we woke up to a ticket. A little rinky dink slip of paper. It’s for 250 USD. A parking ticket is 95 CAD back home, this was a culture shock moment for real.

Also there’s a clause where if we pay it in 30 days or less it’s 50% off, so thankfully not as bad.

We definitely would have spent a solid 80$ on parking had we just parked legally, so the 45$ convenience fee is what it is.

I feel it’s a real mark of maturity that I am able to see it like that, still…

The car is parked nice and legal at an expensive parking lot as we’re on this rooftop listening to Drake.

I copped some Polo in Puerto Rico

Poison Pen wanted to go to the Polo store, so we did.

They didn’t have much in his size unfortunately. Flacko and I on the other hand bought some stuff. I got a fire pair of shorts and two T-shirts.

We walked around Old San Juan and did some touristy shopping, avoiding the masses of cruise people. There are cruises constantly stopping and watching the swathes of people enjoying their 8 hours in San Juan, does make me find cruises less cool.

It was nice, although I nearly left my Polo at a tourist shop, thank God it was still there.

Side note, every dumb thing you do around two New Yorkers will be called out, and never forgotten.

The strip club was fun but tonight it’s La Perla

We had a nice time at the strip club.

I saw a woman do acrobatics on that pole that made me finally understand it all. The way she flung herself around at the top of the pole exhibited such core strength I was mesmerized. The homie JS is going to appreciate this revelation of mine, I get why people want to throw dollars now.

I happily threw money at her, she gave me a show.

Still tonight we’re heading into the no phone zone, La Perla. The vibe should be lit and I’ll show you none of it. Some things are for the memories.

Overall today was one of those ride the wave of life days.

It was stress free and a lot of fun.

Do stuff like that.

Live Long and Prosper Everyone
